O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the first respondent to provide him employment on compassionate grounds.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father worked as Office Superintendent in the second respondent Office and died on 25.06.2000 while he was in service. Initially, the petitioner made representation dated 23.08.2000 to the respondents seeking employment on compassionate grounds and since no order was passed, he again made representations and the last of such representation was made on 05.11.2014, however, no order has been passed.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents fairly conceded that the initial representation made by the petitioner was within the limitation period.

4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2014 positively 2/4

and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
