ORDER

This petition is filed seeking modification of the condition imposed upon the petitioner by this Court in Para No.8(a) in Crl.O.P.No.14527 of 2025 dated 08.05.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court with one of the following condition: " 8(a) the petitioner shall make a non-refundable deposit of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) to the credit of Ray of Light Foundation, Account No.50100078904233, HDFC Bank, Habibullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai, IFSC Code: HDFC0001864, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and shall produce the said receipt before the Court below". Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is poor and he was not in a position to arrange the conditional amount of Rs.50,000/-, hence seeks for modification of the condition.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the submissions made by both sides and the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the condition imposed upon petitioner in para No.8(a) in Crl.O.P.No.14527 of 2025 dated 08.05.2025 is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall make a

non-refundable deposit of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) to the credit of Ray of Light Foundation, Account No.50100078904233, HDFC Bank, Habibullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai, IFSC Code: HDFC0001864, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and shall produce the said receipt before the Court below" and the other conditions shall remain unaltered.
