ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2023 seeking to grant the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.90, School Education [Pa.Ka 3(1)] Department dated 1/4
09.05.2018 to petitioner.
2. It is the contention of the writ petitioner that the benefits conferred in the G.O.Ms.No.216, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 22.03.1993 were not been given to the petitioner and others, hence, they, have filed writ petitions in W.P.Nos.4505 of 2012 etc batch cases which were dismissed vide a common order dated 18.11.2013. Further, except the petitioner, others have filed W.A.Nos.352 of 2014 etc batch and the said appeals were allowed on 04.02.2015, wherein, the cut-off date has been fixed by the Court as 09.12.2016. This Court has held that persons who have approached before 09.12.2016, they are entitled to the benefits. Therefore, it is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the petitioner has not filed a writ appeal, he has approached this Court before 09.12.2016. Therefore, he has given the representation on 21.03.2023 to the respondents seeking to grant the benefits and the same is pending without any further Orders.
3. Since, the prayer is limited seeking for a direction, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order 2/4
4. With these directions, this writ petition stands is disposed of. No costs.
