3. When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the lane on the West side of his property in S.No.155 is the only access to the property from Arcot Road. The respondents after the acquisition of land are attempting to close the lane and prevent ingress and egress through that lane leading to Arcot Road. Therefore, the petitioner gave a representation dated 20.05.2025 to release the pathway from any acquisition. The said representation of the petitioner has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the lane claimed by the petitioner is a poromboke land and in which the petitioner has no individual right. Therefore, he raised objection and he would also submit that the petitioner can have ingress and egress from the Kaliamman Koil Street and the claimed lane is not under usage. However, he would submit that the respondents are ready to consider the representation and conduct an enquiry with regard to the representation of the petitioner.

5. Therefore, without going into the merits of the claim, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 20.05.2025 given by the petitioner and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to all the parties concerned, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 29.05.2025 dsa Index : Yes/No : Yes/ No Speaking Order/ Non-Speaking Order 4/6
