PRAYER:
Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, calling for the entire records pursuant to the O.A.No.13/2009 on the file of the Special Judge for the Tamil Nadu Protection of interests of depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act Coimbatore, and quash the same. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Saravanan For Respondents : Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar (for R1)
ORDER
The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to raise all his points before the Special Court for the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, Coimbatore.
3. Taking note of the fact that these cases have been pending for more than ten years, the Special Judge, TNPID Act, Coimbatore is directed to pass final orders in Original Application No.13 of 2009 as expeditiously as possible,
preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Special Court, Coimbatore shall complete the trial in C.C.No.84 to 89 and 100 of 1998, within a period of three months and report compliance to this Court. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
