The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner representation dated 14.04.2025 consequently direct the third respondent bank to set- off Agriculture loan in respect of customer ID: 864710974, IFSC Code: UTIB 0000599, MICR Code: 612211002 on his file, on the ground of AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE schemes of "Life Shield" (LI) for natural death of the petitioner husband.
2. The case of the petitioner is that on 14.03.2016, the petitioner Page No.2 of 6
husband obtained agricultural loan from the third respondent bank in respect of customer ID: 864710974, IFSC Code: UTIB 0000599, MICR Code: 612211002 on his file. Subsequently, the petitioner's husband died on 19.09.2022. Hence, the petitioner, on 14.04.2025, sent the representation to the respondents 1 & 2, seeking the third respondent-bank to set-off Agricultural loan, on the ground of Agricultural Insurance scheme of "Life Shield" (LI) for natural death of petitioner's husband. However the said representation is pending, as on date. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.04.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for Page No.3 of 6
the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.04.2025 by giving due notice to the petitioner as well as aggrieved parties if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
