On 14.08.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he had given a change of vakalat. Therefore, Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner and post the matter on 20.08.2024. On 20.08.2024, when the matter was called there was no representation for the petitioner, though the name of the petitioner was printed. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to post the matter under 2/5
the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. It is therefore clear that the petitioner is not inclined to prosecute the matter and hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
