ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.226 of 2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, investigation in this case is completed and final report is filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi and the case is yet to be taken on file.

3. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court is of the view that, there is no need to issue any direction to file final report in this case. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi is directed to take cognizance of the offences on the basis of the final report filed, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
