ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) None appears for the petitioner. Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, appears on behalf of respondents 1, 3, 7 and 8; and, Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, appears on behalf of respondents 2, 4 and 5.

2. It is submitted by Mr.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, that the government order under challenge has been withdrawn.

3. In view of the above, nothing would survive in the writ petition and, accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous. However, if the petitioner remains aggrieved by the order passed by this court claiming that the writ petition has not become infructuous despite withdrawal of the government order, he would be at liberty to file an application for revival of the matter.

There will be no order as to costs. W.M.P.Nos.20662 and 20663 of 2020 are closed.
