ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner premises at Door No.81/16a, 2nd Street, Annai Sivagami Nagar, Kathivakkam, Ennore, Chennai 600 057 for installation of CCTV cameras in the petitioner's aforesaid property.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that her blood relatives obstructed to get power connection to her house. Thereafter, on the complaint of the petitioner, a case in Crime No.181 of 2020 was registered. Later, she filed WP.No.17035 of 2021 and with the aid of the Court orders, she obtained power connection. Thereafter, the petitioner wants to put up CCTV Camera to save herself from the assault of her relatives namely, mother, brother and others. The petitioner is not permitted to use the common toilet and other common areas in the house. Hence, she filed a civil suit in O.S.No.42 of 2021 before the District Munsif Court, Thiruvotiyur. She further submitted that the respondent Police has not taken any action on her complaint. She further submitted that the RDO enquiry is kept pending for years. The petitioner sent a representation on 24.08.2021 by post to the respondent police but, no action has been taken. Hence, the above petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that in this case, there is a dispute between the petitioner and her relatives, who are residing in the same compound. Despite several steps taken to sort out the difference between them, all ended in failure. There are complaints and counter complaints from each group. Now, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.181 of 2020 for the offence under Section 145 of Cr.P.C., and the matter was referred to RDO to conduct enquiry to give a finding.

4. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition for the present. The respondent Police is directed to take immediate steps to get report from the RDO and initiate 145 Cr.P.C., proceedings. The 145 Cr.P.C., proceedings shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
