This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to take action on the representation made by the petitioner on 26.08.2020, wherein, the petitioner has sought for cancellation of patta issued in favour of respondents 5 and 6.

2. Mr. Parameswaran, learned Govt. Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent has already fixed the date for enquiry on 21.12.2020 at 11 a.m. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all relevant documents.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 2nd respondent has already called for the parties for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 7 and shall pass orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
