The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 427, 302 IPC r/w 149 IPC in Crime No.23 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A4. He is the named accused in this case. It is his further submission that the petitioner along with other accused abused the deceased and assaulted him with knife. Due to that, the deceased died. Thus, he vehemently opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.On seeing the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
