ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 06.05.2025, for the offence punishable under Section 296 (b), 309 (4), 311, 125 (b), 324 (2), 351 (3) of BNS in connection with Crime No.130 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner was arrested on 06.05.2025 on a

complaint that he had demanded a sum of Rs.300 from the defacto-complainant. Since, the petitioner had previous cases and he is an history sheeter, this case has been fabricated against the petitioner. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submits that the petitioner is an history sheeter in HS.No.51/HS/R6/14. He further submits that the petitioner has been continuously indulging in criminal offences and about 43 cases are pending against him. The last case is registered during December, 2024. Hence, he strongly opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials on records. 5.Considering the nature of offences, the submission of learned Government Advocate and the fact that petitioner is an history sheeter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 09-06-2025 ep
