ORDER

This Writ Petition (Crl) has been filed to issue a Writ or Order or direction or any other appropriate Writ in a nature of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent police to issue Non-traceable Certificate to the petitioner relating to missing (i)Release deed dated 23.01.2026 vide Doc.No.195/2006 and (ii)Sale Deed dated 28.08.2017 vide Doc.No.4221/2017 on the file of the SRO, Thondamuthur respectively based on the petitioners representation dated 28.04.2026 within the time frame as fixed by this Court and thus render justice.

2. When the matter is taken up for today, Mr. A. Damodaran, the Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that upon the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2026, enquiry is pending. The 2nd respondent will complete the enquiry and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the Additional Public Prosecutor, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
