This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 08.09.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.21596 of 2022 to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with two sureties, each for a like sum.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.21596 of 2022 on 08.09.2022 and this Court, while granting bail to the petitioner, directed him to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with two sureties, however, due to his poor background, he was unable to execute the bond and furnish the sureties. Thereby, despite the order being granted on 08.09.2022, the petitioner is languishing in prison. Hence, he seeks for modification of the condition.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, each for a like sum.."

4. It is made clear that the other conditions of the order shall remain unaltered.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
