(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the petitioner's sister, namely Sneha, aged about 19 years, had gone missing, he had given a complaint on 05.05.2025 before the 2nd respondent Police and the same came to be registered in Crime No.193/2025. Since the petitioner's sister could not be traced within a reasonable time, he has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition. 2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's complaint has been registered in Crime No.193/2025 on 05.05.2025 as 'woman missing' and that the 2nd respondent Police is conducting the investigation to locate the petitioner's sister.

3.Since the 2nd respondent Police had registered the petitioner's complaint and they are in the process of investigating the same, we deem it fit that the 2nd respondent could be directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report.

4.In view of the above, the prayer sought for in the present Habeas 2/4

Corpus Petition does not require consideration. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent herein, to expedite the investigation in Crime No.193 of 2025 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible.
