ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground in any one of the suitable posts.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner's father was working as Constable Grade-I. While he was in service, he died on 29.12.1998 leaving behind the petitioner's mother, sister, brother and grand mother as his legal heirs. At the time of death of his father, the petitioner was aged about 10 years. Though the petitioner's mother made an application for her benefits, she did not seek any compassionate appointment. After a period of several years from the date of death of his father, the petitioner made an application seeking appointment on compassionate ground. That apart, the application submitted by the petitioner was also rejected by an order dated 04.08.2011. Therefore, the subsequent representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered.
4. Therefore, this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
