This Court vide order dated 23.06.2023 disposed of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to restore the well in its original position immediately for providing drinking water to the petitioner and the general public within a period of two weeks, failing which, the respondents 1 and 2 were directed to appear before this Court posted the matter 'for reporting compliance' on 15.09.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that pursuant to the order dated 23.06.2023 passed by this Court, the 2nd respondent has restored the well in its original position and has also submitted a report dated 07.09.2023, to that effect on behalf of the third respondent before this Court on 15.09.2023(today).

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and also in view of the report dated 07.09.2023 submitted by the third respondent, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 4 to maintain the well for the usage of petitioner and general public.
