Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct rhe respondents to consider my representation dated 21.10.2020.

ORDER
The present petition is filed seeking mutation of revenue records in the name of the petitioner.
2. Mr.M.Manigopi, learned Government Advocate has entered appearance for the respondents. He made a statement on
instructions that, earlier the petitioner's husband Mr.Varadarajan had applied for patta and the same came to be rejected by the then Tahsildar on 06.08.2011 and that has become final.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would now make a statement, that prayer came to be rejected essentially because there was some discrepancy in the survey number, and the present petition is filed to correct the survey number as well as the sub-division number.
4. The learned Government Advocate would now make a statement after obtaining necessary instructions that at the instance of the Court, an enquiry is scheduled to take place at 11.00 a.m., on 19.01.2021 at the office of the first respondent. The said statement is recorded.
3. Inasmuch as the date for enquiry is fixed by the first respondent, no direction is required to be given except that the first respondent/ Tahsildar is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.10.2020, through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from 19.01.2021. The petitioner is now required to appear before the concerned authority on the date fixed for the enquiry.
6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
