..Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the second respondent to produce the petitioner's wife viz., Gunasundhari W/o. T.Govindhasamy aged about 30 years and his children Ranjith S/o. T.Govindhasamy aged 11 years and Malathi D/o. T.Govindhasamy aged 7 years before this Court set them at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce the petitioner's wife viz., Gunasundhari aged about 30 years and his children Ranjith aged 11 years and Malathi aged 7 years before this Court and set them at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his wife Gunasundhari and his children Ranjith and Malathi went missing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
from 27.07.2021 and the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.
3. On instructions, learned Government Advocate [crl.side] submits that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Kayar P.S.Crime No.169 of 2021 for 'woman, boy and girl missing' was registered and investigation is in progress.
4. In view of the above, we direct the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mahabalipuram, to monitor the investigation in Kayar P.S.Crime No.169 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenues are secured, they shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate I, Chengalpet, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders. With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
