Logesh ..Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide police protection to enable the petitioner to vacate his house portion at Ground Floor, No.26, 3rd Street, Nadu Kuppam, Triplicane, Chennai-600 005 that had been let out to the family of the petitioner on monthly rent basis by the 5th respondent herein.

ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide police protection to enable the petitioner to vacate his house portion at Ground Floor, No.26, 3rd Street, Nadu Kuppam, Triplicane, Chennai-600 005 that had been let out to the family of the petitioner on monthly rent basis by the 5th respondent herein.
2.The respondents 1 and 2 are not necessary parties in this petition and their names are deleted.
3.The nature of dispute that has been projected in this case involves a dispute between the petitioner and respondents 5 to 8. The petitioner wants to vacate the portion that was leased to him by the respondents 5 to 8. However, the petitioner is being threatened by those respondents and he is not even permitted to take away his belongings from the property before handing over the possession of the property to the private respondents.
4.The petitioner has therefore given a representation to the respondent Police seeking for police protection in order to enable him to vacate the premises after taking away of his belongings.
5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint to the Inspector of Police, D-5, Marina Police Station, along with a copy of this order and the respondent Police shall call the parties for enquiry and if the petitioner wants to vacate the premises by taking away his belongings, instructions may be given to the respondents 5 to 8 to allow the petitioner to vacate the premises and take away his belongings. No law and order problem shall be created by any of the parties for this purpose.
6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
