O R D E R

The petitioner/husband filed a petition for divorce in the year 2012, the same is pending before the V Additional Family Court, Chennai in HMOP.No.2542 of 2012. Originally it was filed before the I Additional Family Court, Chennai and it was transferred to the file of V Additional Family Court, Chennai and till date it is pending without any progress.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has filed a petition claiming maintenance which is yet to be numbered.

3. Considering the long pendency of the matter, this Court is inclined to grant a direction to the V Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the interim application as well as HMOP.No.2542 of 2012. Accordingly, the learned V Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of the interim application filed by the respondent/wife for maintenance as well as HMOP.No.2542 of 2012 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
