O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.10.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa) r/w 4(1-A) TNP (Transport) Act, in Crime No. 710 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that when the defacto complainant along with his police party conducted raid, they found that the petitioner along with other accused was illegally transporting 400 litres of illicit arrack. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would vehemently oppose stating that the petitioner along with other accused was illegally transporting 400 Litres of Pondy arrack in a Maruti car. He would further submit that the petitioner is having two previous cases and he was arrested very recently on 26.10.2020 and the investigation is in initial stage. 5.Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner was arrested only on 26.10.2020 and he has two previous cases to his credit, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6.The Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
