O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 17.03.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the accused person has conducted unregistered chit in which the petitioner has joined as a member and also paid a sum of Rs.35 lakhs. But subsequently, the accused did not pay the amount. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 17.03.2018 before the respondent. But so far no action has been taken on the said complaint.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the enquiry on complaint given by the petitioner is still pending.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the compliant given by the petitioner and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he has to register a case and in case, the enquiry reveals only a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

civil dispute or a non-cognizable offence, he has to direct the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for obtaining proper relief, in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
