ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The case of the prosecution is that as per the defacto complainant Srinivasan, the petitioner along with other accused persons joined together and ensured for the medical seat in CMC Hospital, Vellore and obtained an amount of Rs.57,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Seven Lakhs Only) and cheated the defacto complainant.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner along with other accused obtained an amount of Rs.57,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Seven Lakhs Only) from the defacto complainant and on obtaining the said amount cheated the defacto complainant. He would further submit that A1 to A3 were arrested and there is no recovery from them. He would further submit that the investigation is at initial stage and thereby, he would pray for dismissal of the bail petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner along with the other accused cheated Rs.57,00,000/-, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
