Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2017 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The grievances of the writ petitioner is that by virtue of his qualification of law degree, he was promoted and appointed as Superintendent (Legal) in proceedings dated 31.05.2014. One Mr.G.Ravichandran, who is also similarly placed and possessed the B.L. qualification, was promoted and appointed as Senior Superintendent (Legal).

2.Thus, the petitioner states that he is also eligible for promotion to the post of Senior Superintendent (Legal) on par with his junior Mr.G.Ravichandran, and in this regard the writ petitioner submitted the representation on 05.06.2015 and the same is yet to be considered. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 05.06.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3.The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation and relevant proceedings along with the order passed in this writ petition.
