Respondent Prayer : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the three summons issued on 06.05.2019 by the said Judicial Magistrate - I, Poonamallee calling upon the three petitioners to appear on 14.05.2019 to give evidence in respect of an FIR registered in Crime No.3 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police and consequently, to prohibit the said Judicial Magistrate - I, Poonamallee from issuing any further summons to the petitioners as a follow up measure of the aforesaid three summons to compel the petitioners to give evidence under Section 164 of Cr.P.C in respect of the above said Crime No.3 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the three summons issued on 06.05.2019 by the said Judicial Magistrate - I, Poonamallee calling upon the three petitioners to appear on 14.05.2019 to give evidence in respect of an FIR registered in Crime No.3 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police and consequently, to prohibit the said Judicial Magistrate - I, Poonamallee from issuing any further summons to the petitioners as a follow up measure of the aforesaid three summons to compel the petitioners to give evidence under Section 164 of Cr.P.C in respect of the above said Crime No.3 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned

Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed in Spl.S.C.No.69 of 2019 before the Mahila Court, Thiruvallur.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), nothing survives for further consideration in this Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
