This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation, the case in Cr.No.15 of 2024 pending on the file of second respondent to CBCID. The petition is filed on the premise that the accused in this case is very influential person in society and in tamper all piece of evidence and destroy witnesses. Therefore, the investigation has to be transferred to CBCID.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that pursuant to the registration of the complaint, the accused in this case was arrested and was granted conditional bail on 18.06.2024. Investigation in this case is almost completed except medical examination of the accused since the complaint pertaining to sexual assault.

3. Taking note of the fact that the second respondent has registered tte case , secured the accused and also proceeding with the investigation without any disturbance and at the same time, the accused been secured and released on bail only recently, this Court finds that no merits in the submissions made for transfer of investigation. Hence, this Criminal Original is dismissed.
