The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 189(2), 296(b), 115(2), 118(2), 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.121 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 03.05.2026, due to a dispute over playing cricket in a vacant land, the accused persons criminally intimidated the complainant and others. Subsequently the petitioner abused them in filthy language and assaulted them with knives and wooden logs, causing injuries. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He would submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the intervener would submit that the injured is still in the hospital. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the anticipatory bail on the ground that there are 6 previous cases pending against the petitioner. 2/4

6. Taking into consideration of the totality of the circumstances, bad antecedents of the petitioner and the fact that the injured is still in the hospital. In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
