O R D E R

Today, when this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement. A Joint Memo of Compromise dated 09.03.2020 has been filed to that effect.

2. The terms of the Joint Memo of Compromise reads as under: "a) The petitioner/tenant has agreed to vacate the premises being Shop N:5& 6 in Ground Floor and Shop No.7 in first floor situated at 54, Velachery Main Road, Chennai600042 belonging to the Respondent on or before 30th of March 2020.

b) The Respondent has agreed to waive off the balance 50% of the fair rent ordered by the Hon'ble Rent Control Court in RCOP No:2602 of 2008 and affirmed in R.C.A.No:405/2012 and we undertake to withdraw all other connected CRP's being CRP.No.147 and 148/2014 regarding the same subject matter.

c) There shall be no more claims against each other regarding this tenancy."

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/tenant has submitted that as per the terms of Joint Memo of Compromise, the petitioner has agreed to vacate the premises belonging to the respondent by today itself i.e, 09.03.2020.

3. Recording the Joint Memo of Compromise dated 09.03.2020, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo of Compromise. The Joint Memo Compromise shall form part of the order. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.No.1 of 2014 is closed. 09.03.2020 arr Page No.2 of 4
