2. The case of the petitioner is that a patta was granted in favour of the respondents 3 to 5 in respect of the petitioner's lands. The petitioner has challenged the said patta proceedings by way of appeal before the 1st respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer and the same is pending from the year 2014 without any progress since the 1st respondent has not disposed of the petitioner's appeal dated 30.05.2014. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this present Writ Petition.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, since the appeal is pending from the year 2014, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 30.05.2014 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
