Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the third respondent herein to provide police protection to the petitioner's marriage to be held at C.S.I Wesley Church, Ikkadu, Tiruvallur taluk, Tiruvallur district on Friday, 10.09.2021 between 10 am and 11.30 am.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to to direct the third respondent herein to provide police protection to the petitioner's marriage to be held at C.S.I Wesley Church, Ikkadu, Tiruvallur taluk, Tiruvallur district on Friday, 10.09.2021 between 10 am to 11.30 am. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the marriage is a arranged marriage between the petitioner and one Yesupatham has to be held on 10.09.2021 between 10 am and 11.30 am at C.S.I Wesley Church, Ikkadu. The petitioner has given the complaint before the respondent police on 07.09.2021 due to apprehension about the 4th respondent and his men.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has given the complaint before the respondent police on 07.09.2021 only and even without getting any response/reply from the police, the petitioner approached this Court.

4. The marriage invitation filed by the petitioner shows that the marriage will be taken place on 10.09.2021 between 10 am and 11.30 am at C.S.I Wesley Church, Ikkadu. The learned Government Advocate is directed to instruct the respondent police that if the marriage is otherwise legal, the police authority shall extend their security on 10.09.2021 between 10 am and 11.30 am at C.S.I Wesley Church, Ikkadu.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with the abovesaid direction.
