The writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher in Thiruppur District. 2.According to the petitioner, she was sponsored to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher for the year 2007 ~ 2008 by the District Employment Exchange, Erode District. She also appeared for the Certificates Verification on 06.03.2008. However, she was not issued with appointment order. Hence, this writ petition.
3.The fourth respondent has filed a counter affidavit stating that the petitioner belongs to BC Christian Women - N.P. Category. Though she has appeared for the Certificates Verification held on 06.03.2008, the appointment order was not given to her, since under the said category till 05.04.2004 nobody was appointed.
4.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that the selection process is of the year 2008 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition at this distant point of time.
5.In view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
