Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose the petitioner application dated 15.03.2010 in pertain to the issuance of SC/ST Hindu Kurumans Community Certificate to petitioner daughter viz. (Order of the Court was made by M. SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) (Through Video Conferencing) The petitioner is the mother of G.Shanmathy and G.Mathesh, and she prays for issuance of Community Certificate for them, and since there is some considerable delay in considering and disposing of the same, came forward to file this writ petition. 2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, all the petitioner's close relatives have been issued with Hindu Scheduled Tribe Kurumans Community Certificate, including https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner, vide Certificate No.113335 in R.Dis.No.A3/360/2016, dated 28.08.2017, by the Revenue Divisional Officer & Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Egmore Division, Chennai, and as such, there cannot be any impediment in considering the application submitted in this regard positively, and prays for appropriate orders.

3.Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and would submit that, after due verification and scrutiny of the relevant documents, appropriate orders will be passed. 4.This Court has considered the rival submissions, and also perused the materials placed before it.

5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim as projected by the petitioner in the representation, directs the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 15.03.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, in an objective manner, and pass appropriate orders, if not already passed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/date of uploading of this order in the website.
