ORDER

Heard Mr.G.Punniakotti, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Diwakar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 30.06.2016. The said representation is for release of the Tractor with Trailor bearing Registration No.TN 21 M 9788, which was seized by the third respondent on 29.6.2016. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the said vehicle, which was seized by the third respondent on 29.06.2016 and handed over to the second respondent, on the ground that the same was used for the purpose of transporting sand illegally. Since no orders have been passed on the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2016, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

3. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a copy of the representation dated 30.06.2016 seeking release of the vehicle in question along with a copy of this order to the respondents within a

period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks thereafter.
