Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to pass order on the mercy petition made by the petitioner dated 20.04.2016 against the punishment order of removal from service passed by the third respondent in C.No.F1/PR.No.91/2014 u/r 3(b) of TNPSS(D&A) Rules 1955, dated 24.08.2015 and confirmed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.T2/10862/2015 dated 29.12.2015.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the mercy petition made by the petitioner.

2.Mr.Digvijaypandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, took notice for the respondents and submitted that the said mercy petition made by the petitioner is in the process of consideration.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4.Considering the limited prayer made, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the mercy petition made by the petitioner dated 20.04.2016, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
