Respondents Prayer: Petition filed Under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the festival of Sri Arulmigu Mariamman Thirukovil to be conducted on 20.05.2018 to 22.05.2018 which is situated at Bommasamudram Village and Post, Senthamangalam Taluk and Namakkal District based on the petitioners representation dated 08.05.2018. For Petitioners : Mr.S.Senthil For Respondents : Mrs.Kritika Kamal.P Government Advocate (Crl.Side) COMMON ORDER This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders for conducting temple festival and cultural programme.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that even though the petitioners have submitted representation before the respondents well in advance seeking permission and police protection for conducting temple festival and also for conducting cultural programme, so far the respondents police have not passed any order and hence he requests to direct the respondents police to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners at an early date.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that because of the law and order problem the representation is kept pending.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law before the date of the programme and intimate the same to the petitioners. 5.

With the above observation and direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
