Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2019 submitted to him for transfer of the Natham Patta No.34 stood in the name of the petitioner's maternal grandfather Mr.Chengelvarayyan in the petitioner's favour by making necessary entries in the village accounts in respect of the property comprised in Natham S.No.195/27 measuring 0.02.14 Hectares situated at Kerugembakkam Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Tiruvallur District by furnishing the copy of the Transferred Patta to the petitioner. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 01.02.2019, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the transfer of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the respondent has already called the petitioner for an enquiry on 18.12.2020 at 11.00 a.m. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the respondent has already called the petitioner for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the respondent to conduct the enquiry by giving opportunity https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the petitioner and any other necessary parties, if any and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
