The Petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 468, 470 & 471 of IPC in Crime No.342 of 2023 seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the Petitioner collected money from the Defacto Complainant under the guise of getting job in foreign countries and sent fake flight tickets and fake job offer letters to the Defacto Complainant. The Petitioner swindled the amount collected from the Defacto Complainant and others in this regard. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Defacto Complainant and the Petitioner are neighbours and there is money transaction between them from the year 2021. The Petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence. The other accused Balamurugan and Pandiyan were granted bail, after arrest by the trial Court. Hence, the learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the Petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the Respondent would submit that the matter is under investigation. The Investigating Officer is conducted the investigation with regard to other complaints, which were 1/ 3

reported against the Petitioner/A1. He vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner.

5.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and the overtact attributed to the Petitioner that he had received money under guise of getting job and some more cases, similar in nature are also came to be lodged before the Respondent and investigation is at the initial stage, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
