This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to enquire into the representation given by the petitioner and consequently direct the respondents to issue her patta.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 14.06.2012, seeking sub-division of patta comprised in Survey No.278/1A1 situated at Pazhanthandalam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. The first respondent, vide its letter No.12346/2012, has rejected the request of the petitioner stating that there is a difference between sketch plan and land document. Hence, the petitioner made another representation on 25.03.2014 along with necessary documents to the respondents for issuance of patta. Thereafter, an enquiry was conducted by the Revenue Inspector https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and informed that the land register relating to the said land is missing and the same could not be enquired. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the respondents to conduct enquiry on the representations dated 14.06.2012 and 25.03.2014 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as any other persons interested in the property and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
