Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the1st respondent to transfer the cases in Cr. Nos. 1683 of 2013, 1955 of 2013, 1969 of 2013 on the file of the 4th respondent police and in Cr.No. 1643 of 2013 on the file of the 5th respondent police to any other investigation agency and further direct to pay compensation of Rs.20,00,000/- to the petitioner for illegalities done by the 6th & 7th respondents,

same shall be deducted from the 6th & 7th respondent's salary and other benefits, take action against the 6th & 7th respondents for their illegality.

The petitioner seeks direction to transfer the crime numbers which were registered in the year 2013 by the 4th & 5th respondents. Now, almost six years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered now. Therefore, this Writ Petition is devoid of merits.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
