ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by one Shri.Pon.Ramachandran, aged about 82 years in the year 2016, seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the District Educational Officer, Chengalpattu Education Trust, Chengalpattu/the first respondent herein to conduct enquiry the affairs of P.T.V.S High School, Thirukkazhukkundram, making direct payment period from 05.01.2015 to till date and initiate departmental disciplinary action against the ninth respondent as per the complaint given by the petitioner dated 04.01.2016.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on either side submitted that the writ petitioner is no more. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is prepared to bring on record the President of the Chennai Vanniyakula Kshatriya Maha Sangam. 3.

When the petitioner died on 20.04.2018, it is not known as to why fresh steps have not been taken so far to bring on record the President of the Chennai Vanniyakula Kshatriya Maha Sangam.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 8 also submitted that the Writ Petition deserves to be dismissed as the petitioner, who is no more, was

not having any locus-standi.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
