(2) PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the third respondent in Proceedings Na.Ka.No.B2/18259/2000 dated 05.12.2003 quash the same and direct the respondents to assign the land in favour of the petitioner, viz., Kuttai Puramboke measuring about 1945 sq. ft. out of 2451 sq. ft. in Survey No.614, bearing Sub-Division No.6/6, in South Vellore Town, Vellore Taluk and District. ORDER

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would withdraw the writ petition and seeks leave to pursue the matter with the authorities on the administrative side. The prayer for such leave is acceded to.

2. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. No costs. Consequently, WP.M.P.No.37447 of 2004 is closed.
