This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report /charge sheet in Crime No.367 of 2023 within a stipulated period. 1 / 4

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent Police has registered a case in the above said crime number on 12.09.2023, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that investigation is still pending and the respondent Police will file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2 / 4
