Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his lands bearing survey No. 503/2 and 534/1 totally admeasuring extent about 3.48 acres/ cents situated in Thipuganapalli village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri district belongs to petitioner and his family members based on his representation dated 10.07.2021.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his lands bearing survey No. 503/2 and 534/1 totally admeasuring extent about 3.48 acres/ cents situated in Thipuganapalli village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri district belongs to petitioner and his family members based on his representation dated 10.07.2021.
2.The petitioner agriculturist owning land along with his brother and sister in survey No 503/2, 1 acre 16 cents and survey No.534/1, 2 acre 62 cents in Ganajur Village, Soolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District.
3.The petitioner is carrying on the agricultural activities for several years. The patta also stands in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner had some dispute with one Narayanappa of Mattanapalli. Hence, civil suit in O.S.No.40/2021 has been filed, which is pending before the District Munsif Court, Hosur. 4.The said Narayanappa instigated one Chinnappa and another Narayanappa, who are the adjacent land owners of the petitioner and they are obstructing the petitioner using the common path way and to carry on with his agricultural activities. 5.One Sivan, the Special Sub-Inspector of Police, attached to Udhannapalli Taluk Police station, is supporting the aggressor and the petitioner, his brother and sister are not permitted to carry on their agricultural activities. Further, they are frightened of their lives and property. 6.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2021 has been received, enquiry conducted.
7. In view of the same, the petitioner is to approach the respondent police along with the documents to prove his right and to substantiate his claim of right of path way and also the obstructions caused for his agricultural activities. Thereafter, the respondent police would take appropriate steps.
8. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
