O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 03.03.2014 relating to the issuance of patta for the petitioner's land situated at Egmore - Nungambakkam Taluk, Pulliyur Village, Block No.11, T.S.No.41 measuring an extent of 1801 sq.ft.

2.Mr.B.Divakaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given his representation seeking for transfer of patta on 03.03.2014, however, the respondent has not passed any order so far. 3.Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders within a period of eight weeks time.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
