ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 18.04.2024 for reconveyance of land comprised in Survey No.96/1 admeasuring 4.35 acres and 94/2 admeasuring 3.08 acres, Sundakkamuthur Village, Coimbatore.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that their land was acquired under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 for the purpose of Kovadipudur Neighbourhood Scheme, however, the compensation was not paid and even the land was not utilised. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 18.04.2024 with a request for reconveyance of land, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the first 2/4

respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
