ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has filed the civil revision petition, challenging the domestic violence proceedings pending on the file of the Mahila Court, Puducherry in D.V.C. No.470 of 2024, it would suffice if a direction is issued by this Court to the Mahila Court, Puducherry to dispose of D.V.C. No.470 of 2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner has already cross examined the respondent before the Mahila Court, Puducherry. The domestic violence complaint is of the year 2024.

3. No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the Mahila Court, Puducherry to dispose of D.V.C. No.470 of 2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. After giving due consideration to the year of the domestic violence proceedings and the status of the domestic violence proceedings, this Court directs the Mahila Court, Puducherry to dispose of D.V.C. No.470 of 2024 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 16-06-2026 ab To The Mahila Court, Puducherry.
