ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the first respondent to renew the fire license for the petitioner's building situate at 72, Spur Tank Road, Chetput, Chennai, without insisting for the regularisation certificate from the second respondent.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent has submitted that the original application filed by the petitioner is missing on the file and if the petitioner submits a fresh application, the respondent will consider the same within fifteen days.

3. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application to the first respondent within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such application being filed, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merit and in accordance with law within fifteen days.

4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected M.P.No.1 of 2014 is closed. 1110-2022
