Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 10.10.2014 and 11.10.2014 for reposting the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher in Municipal Higher Secondary School, Cuddalore on the basis of English Medium Section started from this academic year, within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.10.2014 and 11.10.2014 with respect to repost him as Secondary Grade Teacher in Municipal Higher Secondary School, Cuddalore, on the basis of English Medium Section started from this academic year.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
